Goodbye September, welcome Tournament season! This, like every September in Cabo, was a month full of Dorado, many Mahi tacos and full coolers to share back home for our fishermen, we also continued with good numbers and weights in the Tuna and Striped marlin and some Blue marlin are showing up just in time for the Bisbees.
The best bait/lure was Caballito and mackerelSome of the best Cabo fishing grounds this September were: Los Arcos, Migriño, San Jaime and Faro.

The 31’ Cabo Express, Picante Expresso released 10 Striped marlin, landed 35 Dorado and 10 Yellowfin tuna.The 32’ Cabo Express, Picante Express released 20 Striped marlin, plus 30 Dorado and 5 Yellowfin tuna for sashimi.

Mucho mahi? Remember that we can arrange for you the vacuum packing and freezing of your catch, so you can take it with you and enjoy it with your loved ones back home.

The 35’ Cabo Flybridge, Picante Dream, released 10 Striped marlin and 1 Blue marlin, for dinner they got 6 Yellowfin tuna and 33 Dorado.Picante Pride, Cabo express 36’, released 10 Striped marlin and 1 Sailfish, they catch 11 Yellowfin tuna and 56 Mahi.The Picante 40’ Tolly released 12 Striped marlin plus 1 Blue marlin, boated 21 yellowfin tuna and 26 Dorado

Yellowfin Tuna weights were around the 50 lbs with some Cows around the 120 lb

The 45’ Cabo Express Picante 45 catch and released 12 Striped marlin, 1 Blue and 1 Sailfish, they landed 20 Dorado and 15 Yellowfin tuna.Caliente 45, Cabo Express 45’ released 10 Striped marlin and 1 Sailfish and boated 13 Yellowfin tuna and 26 Mahi.

The Picante fleet had a good month with Dorados and Striped Marlin! February fishing was up and down, although the crew was having to work harder there were still fish around to be caught and some hungry mako released also.
The best bait/lure was live bait caballitos & mackerel and lures
The best fishing spots this February were:  Golden Gate, Herradura, Cerro blanco and Faro.
Inshore fishing was good for Roosterfish and Sierra.
March Inshore fishing looks great for Sierra, Skipjack, Snapper and Grouper, all good for the plate!

Picante Expresso the Cabo Express 31’ released 10 Striped marlin and 1 nice Roosterfish, they  boated 5 dorado plus some bonitas for the count.
 
The Ram Rod released 4 Striped marlin and landed 2 Yellowfin tuna and 8 mahi mahi (Dorado).
 
Picante Express, 32 ft Cabo Express released 11 Striped Marlin, they also boated 2 nice Tuna and 15 Dorado.
The average weight of the Striped marlin this february was around 120-150 lbs

Picante Dream crew and clients released 10 Striped Marlin and loaded 5 tunas and 6 dorado plus some skipjacks.

The 35’ Cabo Express Salsa released 9 Striped marlin, one more Roosterfish for the count and 7 Dorado.

Picante Pride, 36’ had a great Roosterfish fishing month, they released 7 Rooster and 15 Striped Marlin. They also loaded 10 Dorado and 5 Yellowfin tuna.

The Picante 40’ Tollycraft released 8 Striped marlin and caught 2 Yellowfin tuna, they also boated 8 nice Dorado for dinner.

Picante 45, Cabo Express 45 ft released 10 Striped Marlin, and landed 2 Tuna and 12 Dorado.

Caliente 45, Cabo Express 45 ft released 10 Striped marlin, and boated 2 Tuna and 10 Dorado.

The average weight of the Dorado this february was around 15-25 lbs

This December Picante fleet had good numbers in Striped Marlin as well as good weights in them, from 120 to 150 lbs. Yellowfin tuna were seen in large numbers at 25-30 miles, making days of offshore fishing unforgettable.

The best bait/lure was Live bait, Mackerel and hoochies
The best fishing grounds this December were: Golden gate and Finger Banks
December brought a mixed bag of fish: Striped Marlin, lots of Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo and Dorado. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Picante Expresso the Cabo Express 31’ released 5 Striped marlin and 1 Roosterfish, and also boated 10 nice yellowfin tuna and 9 dorados.


The Ram Rod Albermarle 31’ had a very good fishing month, they released 22 Striped Marlin, boated 6 Yellowfin tuna and 5 dorado.


Picante Express, 32 ft Cabo Express had a great Marlin month, they released 50 Striped marlin, they also boated 15 yellowfin tuna and 5 nice Dorado and 1 nice Roosterfish for the count.

The Cabo Express 35’ Salsa, released 20 Striped Marlin and boated 50 Yellowfin and 21 Dorado plus a Wahoo.

The 35’ Cabo Flybridge, Picante Dream released 25 Striped marlin and boated 20 nice dorado and 4 Yellowfin tuna.

Picante Pride, our Cabo Express 36´ had great luck with the Yellowfin, they loaded this December 51, tuna for everybody!! and also got 16 dorado, regarding the Marlin they released 19.

The Tollycrafy Picante 40’ released 10 Striped marlin they landed 15 Yellowfin tuna,3 dorado and 1 wahoo.

Picante 45, Cabo Express 45 ft released 15 Striped Marlin, plus 15 Yellowfin tuna one and two more good Dorado for the count.

Caliente 45, Cabo Express 45 ft released 20 Striped, they also landed 6 Dorado and 15 tuna.

October and Tournament season is the start of Cabo high season and this year has been nothing short of Great. Our clients have been raising double digit numbers of Stripes, Dorado and Tuna, enough for lunch, they rocked it big time and took home a full cooler of choice filets!The best bait/lure was Live bait, Caballito, lures.The best fishing spots this October were: Los Arcos, El Faro, Golden Gate, Punta Gorda

Picante Expresso the Cabo Express 31’ released 12 Striped marlin and 2 Blue marlin, they also boated 35 Dorado and 21 Tuna.Ram Rod, Alebermarle 31 ft, release 3 Stripes and boated 16 nice Dorado.Was a great October fishing month for the Picante Express, 32 ft they released 16 Striped marlin, 2 Blue marlin and 1 Sailfish . They also boated 10 Yelowfin tuna, 74 Dorado and 1 Wahoo.El Salsa, Cabo Express 35’ released 14 Striped Marlin and 1 more Sailfish for the Count, they boated 40 Yellowfin tuna and 41 Mahi for the count and loaded a good size Wahoo

The 35’ Cabo Flybridge, Picante Dream released 11 Striped marlin and 2 beautiful Sailfish. They loaded 3 Yellowfin tuna and 39 Dorado.Picante Pride, Cabo Express 36 ft, released 22 Striped marlin and 1 Sailfish. They also landed 80 dorado and 28 Yellowfin tuna. Mucho pescado!The Classic Picante 40’ released 12 Striped marlin and 1 Blue marlin, and landed 6 Yellowfin tuna, they also boated 21 nice Dorado and one more Wahoo for dinner.

 

The average weight of the Striped marlin was between 100 and 160 lb, Sailfish 60-80 lb and the blue Marlin between 200 and 240 lb. The Dorado where around the 15-25 lb with some nice Bull ranging the 40 pounds, the Yellowfin tuna was between 20-35 lb.

Picante 45 Cabo Express 45 ft catch and released 14 Striped Marlin and 1 Blue marlin, plus 31 Yellowfin tuna and 44 dorados for the count.Caliente 45, Cabo Express 45 ft, released 10 Striped marlin, and landed 23 Dorado around 15-25 lb plus 10 Yellowfin tuna and 2 delicious wahoo.

The 2022 Black and Blue Bisbee’s Tournament was a good one for sure
 
There was three checks exceeding $1,000,000 handed out, totaling $7,387,925 being the most amount ever awarded in a Sportfishing Tournament!!Third Place Honors went to team R.V. Rentals for the 344 pound Blue Marlin, earned $1,590,975.Team Happy Ending arrived to the scale with a  449 pound Black Marlin caught by Dion Beckner which came in Second Place, with a check for $2,533,250.Team El Mexicano, with Angler Adrian Ponce de Leon on board the “EL MEXICANO,” landed a 461 pound Blue Marlin on the Third Day. They got a $3,263,700 check and the First place of course.Congratulations to the winners!
