PICANTE FLEET FISHING REPORT

August brought very good fishing to Los Cabos, and we are expecting the action to continue through September and October! Cow tuna are still making headlines, while the great numbers of yellowfin tuna in the 50- to 100-pound range kept our guests busy and happy throughout the month. There was plenty of fresh fish to enjoy for dinner, with not only yellowfin tuna but also some impressive Dorado and chunky Wahoo. Our guests also had plenty of great catches to take home frozen and share with family and friends, a delicious way to remember an unforgettable day of fishing in Cabo.

Striped marlin were also present in Cabo San Lucas waters, with some charters releasing up to five marlin in a single day, almost one for every member of the family! September is one of the best months to fish in Cabo San Lucas and a great opportunity to check that dream species off your bucket list. It is also storm season, so we hope for the much-needed rain for our region while enjoying favorable conditions for sportfishing.

We look forward to welcoming you to Cabo for a memorable fishing experience with your family, friends, or partner. Contact us to book your Cabo San Lucas fishing charter and join the action!

The best bait/lure was Caballito, mackerel, live bait, ballyhoo, palitos, and marlin lures.
The best fishing spots this August in Cabo: Los Arcos, San Jaime and El Faro.
