With only a few boats clearing the inlet each morning the number of
Big Black and Blue Marlin that are being caught is surprising even to
the locals that have been here and fished these waters all their lives.
So lets get right into the details of the weeks catches….

Mr. Booth and his family made a last minute decisión to go chasing
the fish on their vacation here at Lands End. They booked Picante's 35’
Cabo Express “CISCO” on 8-9-10 with Captain Jose “Mocho” Nunez
at the helm and mate Ricardo working the cockpit. As luck would have
it an estimated 600 lb. + Black Marlin ate a trolled jig and the battle
was on. After an hour and a half battle the big “Black” was boatside
for a clean release. In addition they live baited 2 Striped Marlin and
boated 2 Yellowfin Tuna for the dinner table. Memories that
will last a lifetime….. Picante, Cabo fishing at it’s best.
